Absolutely essential knowledge
THE SHUTTLE - Transportation
Students are responsible for getting themselves to and from Cle Elum via the shuttle or rental car.
There is an airporter shuttle available that will take travelers from SeaTac airport to Cle Elum. These shuttles are unaffiliated with Streamside Coven Co and run to and from Seattle to Cle Elum 3 times daily- You may schedule your time slot ahead of time at Airporter.com.
SeaTac will be your departure and Cle Elum Warrior’s Quick Stop will be your drop off.
Students who take the shuttle into town the night before (recommended) will find convenient lodging at the SnowCap Lodge in Cle Elum which is directly across the street from your shuttle drop off just past the Safeway parking lot. It is a .01 mile walk across the parking lot to reach the hotel. You will be picked up by your instructor the morning of the retreat, private education, or guide trip.
TWO STUDENT MINIMUM
There is a two student minimum for Group Retreats to take place.
The cost to run a group retreat requires at least two students.
If there is only a single student a month prior to the retreat taking place, the retreat will be turned into a private education weekend.
The curriculum and learning format remain exactly the same- here’s what changes.
Food and lodging are no longer provided and the price decreases significantly.
1) The single student can decide to take the private education weekend alone (total cost $2,300) or split the weekend at a lower cost with another student.
2) If you choose to split tuition, the tuition fee will drop by ~ $800.
3) Students will be responsible for procuring their own lodging and food. I have many wonderful recommendations for clean, comfortable and nearby lodging (the lower cost reflects these expenses).
3) Troutpsychology will advertise and find you a learning buddy for the weekend! A private education weekend split between two students is significantly easier to fill than a group retreat slot, so this should be no problem!
4) We learn and enjoy our weekend!
