This school is a fresh take on an salty topic! Learn how to build your own Puget Sound fly fishing program to locate fish any day, any tide, any wind direction, any season. You’ll learn to choose rigs, flies, and locations with confidence and start your Puget Sound journey with a tried and true strategy.

Here’s What’s Included:

  • 2 hours casting practice including distance casting

  • 2 hour beach study, reading charts and selecting beaches (how to find trout)

  • 1 hour selecting appropriate lines, leaders, and sink tips

  • 30 minutes fly selection

  • 30 minute lunch (not provided)

  • 30 minute hookset and play practice

  • Map of over 80 Puget Sound beaches

Here’s What to bring:

  • A lunch, snacks, and plenty of water

  • A notebook and pen. This is essential. You absolutely need these.

  • Weather appropriate clothing

  • Sunglasses for eye protection

  • The rod and reel you plan to use in your personal fly fishing. Let me know if you need to use one!

  • Waders, boots and rain jacket
